Green Bronx Machine is Coming to PBS!

More than one year after the start of the pandemic, we couldn’t be more proud of our response. We can’t stop, we won’t stop, and thanks to Whole Kids Foundation for this amazing article, taking notice and celebrating our work.

In partnership with NYC Department of Education, we’re thrilled to debut our first episode of PBS’ Let’s Learn NYC, featuring Leslie Ladybug, live from our classroom! Join Leslie as she moves into her new home, Basil Towers, and teaches Mr. Ritz and students across the United States how they can grow nutritious and delicious vegetables indoors all year round, using 90% less water and 90% less space.

Green Bronx Machine looks forward to our first planting day of the year at our Food For Others garden in The Bronx. Join us on May 15th! Additionally, this year, we hope to deliver 100,000 seedlings across New York City to build farms in underserved communities, providing outdoor education, engagement, and food access for all. Now more than ever, our children want and deserve to be outside. We are seeking to raise $10,000 to provide seedlings, soil, tools, gloves, and masks for students to work, play, thrive, and grow all summer long. Please make a donation today.
