Green Bronx Machine is proud to partner with the Jonathan Toews Foundation and the Chicago Blackhawks to bring Tower Gardens and Green Bronx Machine Classroom Curriculum to schools across Chicagoland. Recently named the Chicagoan Of The Year for his work with Green Bronx Machine, Jonathan Toews has sponsored 60 schools in the Chicago area and is helping Green Bronx Machine to bring this program to National Hockey League teams and captains across North America. This program, supported by and in partnership with Chicago Public Schools, has generated significant academic achievement and personal health outcomes, and demonstrates a 100% teacher satisfaction rating, significant for the third largest public school district in the United States.
